Marketing With a Purpose

Just got back from collecting our mail, to find a pack of 6 hot cross buns waiting for me.

Now these buns were from a real estate agent, whom I have never heard from or seen before. All they had was a business card stapled to them.

Now this is what I tell all my clients:

Always market with a purpose!

Was this agent trying to get a sale from me? Did she have some business cards she wanted to get rid of? Or did she realize she brought waaay to many hot cross buns last time at the super market?

I will never know because there was no note, no offer, no reason for me to do anything except eat my free hot cross buns.

So if you are going to spend some money on your marketing, make sure it has a purpose. It could be as simple as to introduce yourself, but make it clear and you will get a better response.
